Morocco Shifts Baccalaureate Exam Dates Due to Eid Al Fitr Holiday Overlap

For those who had already set a reminder for the 2019 baccalaureate exam dates, know that the Ministry of National Education has made some changes to it.
Initially scheduled for June 7 and 8, 2019, the exams have been changed in date because this coincides with the Eid Al Fitr holiday which could be celebrated in Morocco on Thursday, June 6.
"The unified regional exam of the first year of the baccalaureate and the regional exam for free candidates, 2019 session, initially scheduled for June 7 and 8, 2019, have been modified due to the coincidence of these exams with the first day of Eid Al Fitr, which could be celebrated on Thursday, June 6, 2019," it is stated.
High school students will also have to pay attention to the time change scheduled for Sunday, June 9, 2019. "All candidates (must) take into account the change in the current time in the Kingdom and the return to legal time which will be advanced by 60 minutes (GMT+1) to 02:00 am on Sunday, June 9, 2019".
