Morocco Set to Receive Advanced F-16 Vipers from Lockheed Martin

The 25 American F-16 VIPER combat aircraft manufactured by the American group Lockheed Martin are about to be delivered to Morocco.
According to military sources, the American company L3Harris Technologies has completed the electronic warfare system design project for the Moroccan F-16 aircraft, reports Hespress. Deduction: the delivery of these aircraft could be soon. Initially scheduled for 2024, the delivery of these planes would only be effective between 2025 and 2027, but the deadline could be further extended.
Recently, the US State Department approved the sale of 25 "Block 70/72" F-16 aircraft to Morocco. It also gave the green light for the modernization of its 23 F-16s, for an amount of 983 million dollars. These aircraft will be equipped with state-of-the-art electronic systems.
The latest and most advanced in the "Fighting Falcon" family, the Lockheed-Martin F-16 "Viper" Block70/72 is a fourth-generation aircraft equipped with a new APG-83 "Radar Scalable Agile Beam" electronic antenna radar that allows pilots to have a clear and detailed view of the target area with digital mapping displays.
