Morocco Set to Name Walid Regragui as National Team Coach with Reported 600,000 DH Salary

Who will succeed Vahid Halilhodzic at the head of the Moroccan national football team? Pending the announcement of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), one name is repeatedly mentioned: Walid Regragui.
After the officialization of the departure of the Franco-Bosnian technician on Thursday, the federation is preparing to entrust the position of head coach to a new coach. And according to the sources cited by Hespress, Walid Regragui, the current coach of Wydad Casablanca, would be the choice of the Moroccan football authority.
Fouzi Lekjaa would have already made an offer to the young technician, proposing him a monthly salary of 600,000 DH to preside over the destinies of the Lions who are preparing for the World Cup in Qatar, the same sources add, stating that he would be assisted by Adil Ramzy and Rachid Benmahmoud.
For now, nothing is official yet. The announcement of Walid Regragui’s appointment as the new coach of the Moroccan national team could be delayed until the end of the current month, it is pointed out.
