Morocco U-17 Secures Quarter-Final Spot with 1-0 Win Over Nigeria in AFCON
The Moroccan football team continues its winning streak in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations by defeating Nigeria (1-0) in the second group B match. A victory that confirms the good form of the Moroccan team.
From the kick-off, the Lionceaux benefited from a stroke of luck with an unfortunate own goal from the Nigerian side (2nd). Despite the efforts of the Golden Eaglets, the score did not change, allowing the young Moroccans to win their second victory.
The Moroccans’ victory allows them to take the lead with six points, followed by the Nigerians who have 3 points. They are already qualified for the quarter-finals.
Morocco’s next match will be next Sunday against the Zambian team.
