Morocco Secures Deal to Connect Tendrara Gas Field to Major Pipeline

Sound Energy announced on Tuesday that it has concluded an agreement with the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) for the connection to the Maghreb-Europe gas pipeline (GME).
Under the pipeline connection agreement, ONHYM has approved the connection of the Tendrara production concession via a gas export branch pipeline to the GME pipeline, a statement said.
Under the agreement, ONHYM has committed to putting in place the infrastructure link between the Tendrara export pipeline and the GME pipeline, allowing Tendrara gas to reach all customers connected to GME.
This is an important step towards the effective implementation of the agreement signed by ONE and Sound Energy in November 2021 for the sale of natural gas from the Tendrara concession, the note points out.
