Morocco’s Saïdia Beach Considers Jet Ski Ban Following Fatal Accidents

The authorities of Saïdia are about to definitively ban water sports activities, particularly jet skis, this summer. Several fatal accidents have also been recorded during the previous summer seasons on this beach.
The movements of jet skis are rare on the different beaches of Saïdia and the neighboring coastal areas. This is the observation made by vacationers. They claim that they no longer see the dozens of jet skis moving around as in previous summer seasons. This observation follows the strengthening by the authorities of Saïdia of the supervision of water sports activities, particularly jet skis. In addition, discussions are underway for the total ban on these activities this season.
