Morocco’s Royal Palace Reaffirms Stance on Palestine, Rebukes Political Party’s Criticism

In response, the Royal Cabinet issued a statement stressing that Morocco’s position on the Palestinian issue is irreversible and constitutes one of the priorities of His Majesty The King’s foreign policy. This is a constant principle position of Morocco, which cannot be subject to political one-upmanship and narrow electoral campaigns.

The driving forces of the nation, political parties and certain leading figures, as well as certain associative bodies working for the Palestinian cause, had then been informed of this decision, for which they had expressed their adherence and commitment.

Finally, the Royal Cabinet recalled that Morocco’s position on the Palestinian issue is constant and will never be subject to political one-upmanship. Morocco’s relations with Israel are framed by official communiqués and declarations and are not negotiable. Morocco will continue to work for peace and stability in the region, always safeguarding the supreme interests of the homeland and respecting national constants.
