Morocco Requires Vaccination Pass for Stadium Entry as Football Fans Return

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced on Tuesday that the return of supporters to the stands will be subject to well-defined conditions. According to Fouzi Lekjaâ, only vaccinated people will have access to the stadiums.
The decision was made during the meeting of the FRMF Executive Committee. In addition to barrier gestures and preventive measures, and the validation of the competent authorities, access to the stadiums is conditional on taking the vaccine against Covid-19.
Fouzi Lekjaa calls on club presidents to raise awareness among the supporters of their respective clubs on the need to obtain the health pass and to respect the barrier gestures. A few weeks ago, the Federation had decided that all footballers aged 18 and over had to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to participate in the matches of the national championship.
The absence of supporters in the stadiums dates back to March 2020. The FRMF came to this difficult decision because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
