Morocco Requires Third COVID Vaccine Dose for Stadium Entry

The opening of stadiums to Moroccan supporters will have to wait. On Thursday, the government announced that it will be conditional on the administration of the third dose of the Covid vaccine.
According to the recommendations of the Scientific Committee, the administration of the third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine is necessary. During the weekly press briefing, it was indicated that the health of Moroccans remains the main concern of the authorities. Moroccan supporters will have to be patient and follow the protocol established by the competent authorities if they want to return to watch matches in the stadiums.
This decision reinforces the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in his logic. A few months ago, Fouzi Lekjaâ had stressed that the return of supporters to the stadiums will depend on the possession of a vaccination pass and a decision by the competent authorities.
It should be recalled that Moroccan stadiums have been closed for almost two years (March 2020), causing major financial difficulties for many football clubs.
