Morocco Reports Spike in COVID-19 Cases, Death Toll Rises to 23

The covid-19 epidemic has infected 345 people in Morocco, after recording a record number of people testing positive in a single day (70).
With these figures, the Moroccan authorities could take new measures to try to contain the disease.
In addition, the number of deaths continues to increase. Two new cases were recorded on Friday. It is a young lawyer and an imam, bringing the number of deceased persons to 23. As for the cases of recovery, there are a total of 11 patients who have been able to escape the clutches of the disease.
With the new distribution map, the Casablanca-Settat region proves to be the epicenter of the epidemic with 107 cases (+3), followed by Fès-Meknès (63 cases) and Marrakech-Safi with 57 cases (+6). The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region with 56 cases, and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (23 cases), are followed by the Oriental (12 cases), Souss-Massa (11 cases), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (10 cases) (+3), Drâa-Tafilalet (5 cases) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1 case).
