Morocco Reports Record 82 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Casablanca Hardest Hit

Morocco recorded a new record of 82 deaths due to the coronavirus, after that of November 4 (74). With these figures, the Kingdom has 3,982 people who have succumbed to Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic in March.

The Greater Casablanca-Settat region is at the top of the most affected regions with 26 deaths, including 20 in Casablanca and 6 in El Jadida. It is followed by the Oriental region, which has 18 deaths, including 5 in Oujda-Angad, 3 in Berkane, 3 in Jerada, 2 in Nador, 2 in Taourit, 2 in Figuid and 1 in Driouch.

Rabat-Salé-Kénitra announces 13 deaths with 4 in Salé, 3 in Kénitra, 2 in Rabat, 2 in Sidi Slimane, 1 in Skhirate-Témara and 1 in Sidi Kacem. In the Marrakech-Safi region, the coronavirus killed 8 patients, including 4 in Marrakech, 1 in El Kelâa des Sraghna, 1 in Youssoufia, 1 in Essaouira and 1 in Rehamna.

Beni Mellal-Khénifra reports 6 deaths, all in Khourigba. Fès-Meknès has 4 deaths, including 3 in Taza and 1 in Fès. Souss-Massa has 3 deaths with 1 death in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 1 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Chtouka-Ait Baha.

Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra has 2 deaths, both in Laâyoune. As for Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, it has 1 death in Ouezzane.
