Morocco Reports Record 539 New COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hours, Mostly in Rabat Region

It is a record number of infections in Morocco. In total, 539 people were infected by the new coronavirus (covid-19) in the last 24 hours in the kingdom, bringing the total to 9,613 cases.
The vast majority of infections occurred in the Rabat region with 457 cases. It is followed by Marrakech-Safi (+29), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (+27), Casablanca-Settat (+13) and Fez-Meknes (+13).
In terms of recoveries, the Ministry of Health reports 76 cases that have definitively left Moroccan hospitals. Since last March, Morocco has recorded 8,117 recoveries, a rate of over 84%.
