Morocco Reports Record 1,157 COVID-19 Recoveries in Single Day

Good news for Morocco, which has just recorded a new record of coronavirus recoveries with 1,157 people, the highest figure since the appearance of Covid-19 in the country.
With these new figures, the number of remissions now stands at 23,347 since early March, or 70.24%. In addition, 9,337 patients are still under treatment, including 122 people in serious condition and 40 under artificial respiration.
During the same day, 18 deaths were recorded, bringing the number of Covid-19 deaths to 498 since the start of the epidemic in Morocco.
On Friday, August 7, a record of recoveries had been recorded with 995 people having overcome Covid-19.
