Morocco Reports Mild Side Effects in 99.5% of Covid Vaccine Recipients

The Moroccan Anti-Poison and Pharmacovigilance Center (CAPM) indicated that out of the 35,000 people who reported adverse effects from the Covid vaccination, 99.5% have extremely mild complications. According to the director of the Center, Rachida Soulaymani Bencheikh, these are mild side effects that disappear after a few days.
The CAPM has called on Moroccans not to panic. The reported side effects are those that appear after taking any medication or after the administration of any other vaccine. These are fever or fatigue. According to the details provided by Rachida Soulaymani Bencheikh, 80% of the reported cases come from the average citizen, and 20% were reported among healthcare professionals. As for the cases considered severe by the World Health Organization, they represent only 0.5%.
The CAPM has set up a 24/7 telephone line available to the public to record suspected adverse effects of the Covid-19 vaccination. Declarations can also be made by note addressed to the center.
The center reminds that the diagnosis and treatment of serious cases is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health through university, regional and provincial hospitals. Care is provided when the patient does not benefit from insurance or "RAMED", specifies Rachida Soulaymani Bencheikh.
