Morocco Reports Highest Daily COVID-19 Death Toll with 19 Fatalities

This is a sad record that Morocco has just set. Over the past 24 hours, the kingdom has recorded 19 deaths due to Covid-19, the highest figure since the appearance of the virus last March.
According to the Ministry of Health, 401 people have died from Covid-19 in the country since the start of the epidemic. Yesterday already, the kingdom had experienced the loss of 15 people and the day before 14 people.
Regarding people in serious condition, their number stands at 79 people this Monday, August 3. These cases are distributed among the regions of Casablanca-Settat (24 cases, including 7 intubated people), Marrakech-Safi (19), Tetouan-Al Hoceima (16, including 2 intubated), Fez-Meknes (11, including 2 intubated), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (7, including 3 intubated) and Souss-Massa (2).
