Morocco Reports 34 New COVID-19 Deaths, Casablanca Region Hardest Hit

34 deaths due to coronavirus were recorded in the last 24 hours in Morocco, the Ministry of Health announced. Since last March, 7,204 deaths have been recorded in the country.
Covid-19 killed 18 patients in the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, including 11 in Casablanca, 6 in Settat and 1 in Mohammedia. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 6 deaths with 2 in Salé, 1 in Kénitra, 1 in Skhirate-Témara and 1 in Sidi Kacem.
In the Marrakech-Safi region, there were 3 deaths, including 2 in Youssoufia and 1 in Essaouira. Then come Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Fès-Meknès, each with 2 deaths. While Taza has 2 deaths, Al Hoceima has 1 death against 1 in M’Diq-Fnideq.
Only 1 death was recorded respectively in Tata, Oujda-Angad and Tinghir in the Souss-Massa, Oriental and Darâa-Tafilalet regions.
