Morocco Reports 2,526 New COVID-19 Cases, 842 Severe Infections as ICU Occupancy Rises

Morocco recorded 2,526 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, including 33 severe and critical cases.
Out of the 34,143 active cases, there are 842 serious cases, including 33 in the last 24 hours. Among the people in quite critical condition, 66 are intubated and 477 are under non-invasive ventilation. The occupancy rate of intensive care beds is 36.5%, according to the daily Covid-19 bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
The total number of confirmed cases recorded in Morocco since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 225,070. Many specialists have recently called for vigilance, fearing a second phase of contamination much more devastating than the first.
