Morocco’s COVID-19 Cases Surge: Nearly 1,000 in Critical Condition as Infections Spread Nationwide

5,515 cases of contamination were recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, of which 183 are in serious condition. The epidemiological situation is still critical with cases of contamination in all regions of the country.
The total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic is now 282,336 cases, according to the daily Covid-19 bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
Out of 48,545 active cases, 999 are admitted to the resuscitation and intensive care units, 77 are intubated and 406 are under non-invasive ventilation. The occupancy rate of the intensive care beds dedicated to Covid-19 is 37.3%, the same source specifies.
