Morocco’s COVID-19 Surge: Over 5,600 New Cases, ICU Occupancy Rises to 36%

Another 5,641 new Covid-19 cases, including 80 serious cases recorded in the last 24 hours in Morocco. The total number of infected people since the start of the pandemic has now reached 240,951.
For the past few days, the number of infections has largely exceeded 5,000. In the last 24 hours, 5,641 people were affected by the coronavirus, including 80 critical and severe cases, according to the daily Covid-19 bulletin from the Ministry of Health.
Out of the 39,677 active cases, there are 68 cases under intubation and 487 cases under non-invasive ventilation (ventilatory assistance). The occupancy rate of intensive care beds is 36%, the same source specifies.
