Morocco Reports Over 5,000 New COVID-19 Cases, 101 Critical as Pandemic Surges

Even more than 5,000 cases of Covid-19 infection were recorded in the last 24 hours in Morocco. The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 246,349.
A total of 5,346 cases of Covid-19 infection, including 101 cases in serious and critical condition, were recorded in the last 24 hours in the country. This is what the bulletin published by the Ministry of Health indicates.
Out of the 41,268 active cases recorded, 886 people are in intensive care and resuscitation. As for the intubated people, they number 66 and those under non-invasive ventilation number 498. The occupancy rate of intensive care beds is 36.3%, the same source specifies.
