Morocco Hits Grim Milestone: Over 1,000 COVID-19 Patients in Intensive Care

Morocco recorded 4,966 new coronavirus infection cases, including 61 new serious cases in the last 24 hours. Each day brings its share of contamination despite numerous calls to respect preventive measures.
The total number of positive cases recorded since the start of the pandemic now stands at 238,598. The number of active cases is 49,800, with 1,051 people admitted to intensive care and intensive care units, including 61 in the last 24 hours, indicates the Ministry of Health in its daily Covid-19 bulletin.
The total number of intubated cases is 89 and the cases under non-invasive ventilation are 460. As for the occupancy rate of intensive care beds dedicated to Covid-19, it has made a leap forward and reached 39.28%, specifies the same source.
