Morocco Reports 1,343 New COVID-19 Cases, Death Toll Rises to 1,111

One thousand three hundred and forty-three (1,343) new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection and 1,737 recoveries were recorded in Morocco over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Saturday.
This new report brings the total number of infections in the Kingdom since the first case reported on March 2 to 61,399 and the number of fully recovered people to 46,355, said Mouad Mrabet, coordinator of the National Center for Public Health Emergency Operations at the Ministry of Health.
The number of deaths has risen to 1,111 with 33 new deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, he added.
