Morocco Reports 281 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 2,564

Morocco recorded 281 new cases this Friday, April 17 at 6 p.m., bringing the total number of cases of contamination to 2,564, according to the Ministry of Health.
The department of Khalid Aït Taleb also announced 135 deaths due to covid-19 and 281 cases of recovery.
With these new figures, the Casablanca region remains the most affected in Morocco with 716 cases, followed by Marrakech (648) and Rabat (259).
The Department of Health also calls on Moroccans to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
