Morocco Reports 162 New COVID-19 Cases, Zero Deaths in Latest Update

The new COVID-19 report shows 162 new infections, 65 recoveries and zero deaths between Friday 4 pm and Saturday 10 am.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of confirmed cases is now 5,873, while the number of recoveries stands at 2,389 against 186 deaths.
In addition, 56,134 cases have been ruled out, following negative tests, since the beginning of the epidemic.
Regarding the new distribution map, Casablanca-Settat remains the most affected region with 1,579 cases (+79), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 841 cases (+61), Fès-Meknès with 729 cases (+8), Béni Mellal-Khénifra with 98 cases (+6), Marrakech-Safi with 1,143 cases (+4), Souss-Massa with 60 cases (+3), Guelmim-Oued Noun with 43 cases (+2), Drâa-Tafilalet with 557 cases, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 480 cases, Oriental with 175 cases, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab, with 4 cases each.
