Morocco Reports 106 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Reach 8,408

The number of new daily coronavirus infections continues to be high in Morocco with, for June 9, 106 new infections, according to the Ministry of Health.
With these new figures, the total number of infected people in the kingdom reaches 8,408, the ministry said on its website dedicated to covid-19.
In addition, the health authorities report 15 new recoveries, bringing their total number to 7,423, while the number of deaths in the kingdom has now reached 208 people. For Tuesday, no new deaths were recorded.
With the new figures announced today, it will be very difficult for the Moroccan authorities to allow a complete deconfinement tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10, the date of the end of the state of health emergency.
