Morocco Reports 1,069 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Surpass 43,000

Covid-19 has infected 1,069 more people in the last 24 hours in Morocco, according to figures released by the Ministry of Health, bringing the total since the start of the coronavirus epidemic to 43,558.

• 23 deaths since last night. Total at 681.
• 20,128 tests. Total 1,583,252.
• 12,936 patients under treatment.
• 597 new recoveries. Total at 29,941.
• 189 people in serious condition, including 50 under artificial respiration.
Unfortunately, Morocco has been experiencing a sharp increase in coronavirus cases in recent weeks, prompting the authorities to tighten measures.
