Morocco Reports 1,276 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Surpass 54,000

The new coronavirus (Covid-19) has infected 1,276 people in the last 24 hours in Morocco, according to figures released by the Ministry of Health, bringing the total since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic to 54,528.

• Drâa-Tafilalet: +112
• Oriental: +45
• Béni Mellal-Khénifra: +140
• Guelmim-Oued Noun: +2
• Souss-Massa: +27
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +22
Here are the other figures to remember:
• 35 deaths since last night. Total at 955. Fatality rate at 1.8%
• 20,914 tests. Total at 1,747,642.
• 815 new recoveries. Total at 38,293.
• 15,280 patients under treatment.
• 171 people in serious condition, including 32 under artificial respiration.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced the death of 32 people, the recovery of 1,135 patients and 170 serious cases.
