Morocco Reportedly Orders Two C-390 Military Transport Aircraft from Brazil

Morocco would have ordered the C-390 Millennium, a multi-mission military transport aircraft, thus becoming the tenth customer of the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer.
Is the Moroccan Air Force fleet about to expand with the upcoming delivery of the C-390 Millennium? A tenth country has ordered two C-390 Millennium aircraft, Embraer announced on December 27, without however revealing the name of the buyer. Morocco would be the new acquirer. The Moroccan Air Force would have selected the C-390 to replace its old C-130 Hercules, Barlamane believes, adding that Rabat is even discussing a possible collaboration for local production in partnership with Embraer.
This contract includes the purchase of the aircraft, a complete training program, as well as the supply of spare parts. The two aircraft will be specially configured to meet Morocco’s specific needs, particularly for tactical transport missions, humanitarian aid, disaster management and medical evacuation.
Another proof that Morocco is indeed the new customer of the Brazilian manufacturer: the logo of Morocco had been visible, during a promotional event, alongside the other nations that had placed orders for the aircraft. If confirmed, Morocco would become the tenth country to choose the C-390 after Brazil, Portugal, South Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Slovakia and Hungary.
