Morocco in Talks to Acquire Advanced Brazilian Military Aircraft

A delegation from the Brazilian aeronautical company Embraer is currently in Morocco. The main objective of this visit is to accelerate negotiations regarding the potential sale of KC-390 Millennium military transport aircraft to the Royal Moroccan Air Force.
The delegation’s discussions are expected to focus primarily on the KC-390 Millennium. This aircraft is described as one of the most advanced military aircraft in its category, capable of performing a wide range of missions, including tactical transport, medical evacuation, and in-flight refueling. This visit takes place in the context of ongoing technical and commercial contacts between the two parties, which seem to be starting to bear fruit, improving Embraer’s chances of securing the first customer for the aircraft in Africa.
In addition to this military aspect, the visit also represents an opportunity for Embraer to promote some of its civil aircraft models. These include the E190-E2 and E195-E2 from its modern range. These aircraft are being considered as possible replacements for the four E190 aircraft currently operated by Royal Air Maroc. The national airline, in which the Moroccan state is the majority shareholder, maintains an active air link with Brazil, serving the city of São Paulo.
