Due to the tensions in Ukraine, some 99 Moroccan students have been repatriated to Morocco, on Tuesday, via Tangier international airport.
The repatriation of this first wave was carried out by the airline Air Arabia, in accordance with the government’s wish to see all Moroccans leave the country. The plane had taken off at 5:10 a.m. (local time) from Kiev-Boryspil airport, and landed at 9:15 a.m. at Tangier airport. Other flights have been scheduled in the coming days.
Upon arrival, the students underwent the current health protocol. Several of them welcomed the government’s commitment to their side, noting that the flight conditions were "good".
