Morocco to Reopen Bars and Nightclubs After Months-Long Closure
Bars, nightclubs and restaurants with shows in Morocco are preparing to resume their activities starting this Thursday, after having been "unfairly" excluded during the second phase of deconfinement.
The owners of bars and cabarets will finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, after three very difficult months. Condemned to remain closed after June 25, professionals in the sector had a hard time accepting this derogation, especially since other alcohol outlets had been allowed to reopen.
On the other hand, the situation has benefited the bars in Casablanca that have a special authorization, notes the daily Assabah. But to be able to consume alcohol, the customer had to go to the table.
This setback did not prevent customers and managers from complaining about the closing time imposed by the authorities, believing that it is only from 11 p.m. that they could start having a good time. A situation that has forced some regulars to come a little earlier...
