Morocco Recalls Ambassadors Amid Rising Tensions with Gulf States

The Moroccan ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohamed Ait Ouali, is currently in Rabat. He would also have been summoned for consultations.
According to Al Jazeera, citing local sources, the Moroccan ambassador to the UAE has been summoned due to tensions in relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and Saudi Arabia. Mustapha Mansouri, the Moroccan ambassador to Riyadh, is also currently in Morocco for the same reasons.
The recall of the Moroccan ambassador would come after the escalation of tension between Morocco and some Gulf countries, such as Saudi Arabia. Other sources, however, confide that Mohamed Ait Ouali would only be in Morocco to settle administrative matters requiring his presence, and there is therefore no reason to speak of a recall.
This administrative procedure concerning the Moroccan ambassador to the United Arab Emirates could indeed have been easily postponed. The diplomatic authorities of a state usually avoid this kind of thing that can be misinterpreted. Real coincidence? Or message?
For the moment, no official position (or officially revealed) allows us to affirm with certainty that Morocco and some Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE are at odds.
