Morocco Ranks 6th Among Top Global Travel Destinations for 2025

Morocco ranks sixth in the top 10 best places to visit in 2025, according to Le Routard.
Morocco ranks sixth in the top 10 best destinations to visit in 2025, established by Le Routard. Not surprising, as the kingdom welcomes many tourists each year. In 2024, Morocco surpassed Egypt and became the most visited country in Africa in 2024 after reaching a new tourism record. "The Morocco destination is hitting hard in 2024. With 17.4 million tourists at the end of December, Morocco has reached its ambitious target on its roadmap, initially planned for 2026," said the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy in a press release. Compared to 2023, this represents a 20% increase compared to 2023, or nearly 3 million additional tourists. With this new record, Morocco outperforms Egypt, which did not cross the 15.7 million mark in 2024, and became the most visited country in Africa last year.
Aix-en-Provence and Sainte-Victoire top the global ranking of the 10 best travel destinations for 2025. They are followed by Burgundy, Ireland, Andalusia and mainland Greece. Canada takes seventh place. Canada, Bolivia and Cambodia follow. Southern India completes the top 10. The site invites travelers to visit these destinations to celebrate their beauty.
