Morocco Ranks 6th Globally in COVID-19 Vaccination Progress

Morocco once again finds itself in the global top 10 of countries most advanced in their Covid-19 vaccination campaign.
As of Saturday, February 27, 2021, Morocco ranks sixth in the global ranking of countries most advanced in their vaccination campaign, according to data from the specialized website Our World in Data.
With a score of 0.44 daily doses per 100 people, Morocco outperforms Turkey (8th), Spain (10th), Italy (13th), Germany (14th), France (15th) or Canada (16th). In the top 3, we find Israel with a score of 1.29 doses per 100 people, followed by the United Arab Emirates (0.67 dose) and the United Kingdom (0.55 dose).
According to the latest report from the Ministry of Health as of Sunday, February 28 at 6:00 pm, more than 3.45 million Moroccans have been vaccinated. Morocco was the first in the world to announce the launch of a national vaccination campaign against Covid-19.
