Morocco Ranks 3rd Among Most Influential African Nations Globally, Study Finds

Morocco ranks in the top 3 of the most influential African countries in the world. This is revealed by a study conducted by a British firm.
After conducting its annual study based on an opinion survey of residents of more than 100 countries representing all continents and regions of the world and the views of decision-makers in governments, international institutions, companies and NGOs, the British firm Brand Finance, specialized in brand value analysis, published its Soft Power Index report and its ranking of the most influential African countries in the world.
Thanks to the significant diplomatic efforts made, Morocco ranks 3rd in this ranking. At the global level, the kingdom occupies the 46th place, thus gaining 2 places. Egypt has the most influential African soft power in the world. It ranks 31st globally and thus gains 3 places. It is followed by South Africa (46th global rank, with three places gained). Nigeria is in 4th place. At the global level, it is positioned at the 69th rank and gains 13 places.
Then come Mauritius (5th African rank, 71st global rank, first appearance in the ranking), Rwanda (6th African rank, 74th global rank, first appearance in the ranking), Algeria (7th African rank, 75th global rank, loses one place) and Tunisia (8th African rank, 76th global rank, stable). Ghana (86th global, gained 7 places) and Madagascar (94th global, first appearance in the ranking) complete the African top 10.
