Morocco Climbs 13 Spots in Global Digital Quality of Life Index, Ranks 3rd in Africa

Morocco ranks 71st in the world for digital quality of life, gaining 13 places. Israel tops the ranking.
Israel occupies the first place in the 2022 ranking of the annual "Digital Quality of Life Index" (DQL), thus gaining three places. Denmark occupies the second place. Germany, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland, Japan follow. The United Kingdom and South Korea complete the top 10 of the 2022 index. Morocco, which ranks 71st in the world for digital quality of life, gains 13 places. In Africa, it ranks 3rd ahead of Tunisia.
The DQL evaluates countries based on five factors: cost, quality, e-infrastructure, e-security and e-government and 14 indicators such as speed, GDP per capita, cost of mobile internet and cost of broadband internet. The study is based on information provided by the United Nations, the World Bank, Freedom House, the International Telecommunication Union.
