Morocco Ranks 11th in Top Global Destinations for Middle Eastern Travelers in 2023

Morocco occupies the 11th place in the ranking of the 50 global destinations in vogue in the first quarter of 2023 for travelers from the Middle East, established by Wego, the largest online travel marketplace and the number 1 travel app for bookings and flight searches in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). It far outpaces Algeria, ranked 42nd.

Egypt retains its first place as the top destination for international travel by MENA region travelers in the first quarter of 2023. Annual leader since 2014, it is followed by Saudi Arabia, India and the United Arab Emirates. Kuwait completes the top 5. Turkey loses a place and is in sixth position. Then come Pakistan, Jordan, Thailand and Qatar. Oman is in 12th place ahead of the United Kingdom and Indonesia and the United States. Ethiopia and Kenya complete the top 50.
