Morocco’s Railway Modernizes Stations with New Access Control Systems

The National Railway Office (ONCF) is continuing its efforts to modernize its infrastructure.
A new project has just been launched: the equipment of railway stations with access control systems to the platforms. The objective is to strengthen passenger security and fight against fraud.
Concretely, it is a matter of regulating access to the platforms in order to prevent intrusions and risky behaviors. The contract, for a total amount of more than 41 million dirhams, has just been awarded to a Moroccan company, reports Maghreb Confidentiel.
It includes two parts: the supply and installation of the access control system, on the one hand, and the annual maintenance, on the other.
