Morocco’s Professional Tax Deadline Looms: 15% Penalty for Late Payments

In a press release, the General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR) indicates that all late payers will have to pay a penalty. This has been set at 15%, from the first month of delay, adding that the payment notices were sent, since last April, to the taxpayers concerned.
For those who have not received the notice or have lost it, it is possible to pay this payment using the references of a previous notice, specifies the TGR. This payment procedure can be carried out directly on the TGR website.
In addition, the possibility of making the payment is offered directly in most mobile banking applications, as well as in bank branches (counters) and at local service points, in which case, the amount of 15 DH including tax must be paid.
