Glovo Morocco Refutes Claims of Bank Data Hack in Delivery App

Information claiming that a bank data hack was orchestrated via the Glovo app, the Moroccan subsidiary of the delivery platform, turns out to be false.
The information circulated in recent days is "false" and "unfounded," Glovo Morocco states in a press release. The meal delivery company via mobile application affirms that no intrusion or data leak has been observed in its systems. "No security breach has been detected," the same source specifies.
Glovo Morocco assures that it makes the protection of banking data an absolute priority and that all sensitive data, particularly payment information, is encrypted and stored on servers compliant with the strictest international security standards, notably those of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
Reaffirming its commitment to offering a secure experience to its entire community, the company announces that its security and awareness measures will continue to be strengthened. It also invites users to contact customer service in case of doubt or anomaly.
