Morocco Prepares to Repatriate Citizens from Coronavirus-Hit Italy

Like the Moroccans from Wuhan, Morocco is preparing to welcome its nationals stranded in high-risk areas, particularly Italy where the coronavirus epidemic is raging.
In accordance with the royal directives, the repatriation operation of MREs from Italy should be launched from Friday, March 13, in particular through the scheduling of special flights, according to Maroc Intelligence.
The coordination of the action has been entrusted to the Royal Armed Forces, through the development of national airports for the occasion, including the military airport of Benslimane.
To this end, the health authorities, in consultation with the Royal Armed Forces, are working to set up a field hospital, to accommodate suspected or confirmed cases of Coronavirus, from countries where the virus is endemic.
