All the victims were buried in Muslim cemeteries, in accordance with the rites and customs of Islam, specified the Moroccan ambassador to Rome, Youssef Bella.
In addition, 113 Moroccan citizens, stranded in Italy due to the closure of borders and the suspension of air links, have been identified to date by the embassy, which is doing everything possible, it is said, to inquire about their situations.
The measures taken by the embassy of the kingdom for the Moroccan community in Italy are articulated around three main axes, namely: permanent contact, material and moral support, and action on the diplomatic and consular level, specified the ambassador.
