Morocco Repatriates 100 Citizens from Coronavirus Epicenter in China

The repatriation of the 100 Moroccans stranded in China due to the coronavirus epidemic that continues to rage in Xi Jinping’s country will be effective this Saturday, February 1, 2020. A Royal Air Maroc (RAM) plane will be responsible for their transport from Wuhan, the epicenter of the corona virus, to Meknes.
The outbound flight AT3830 of RAM operated in a Boeing 737 CN-ROH from Casablanca, Friday, January 31, 2020, landed in Wuhan, after stopovers in Moscow and Beijing, reports Médias24. According to the same source, the return flight AT3031 is scheduled for Saturday, February 1. The plane will take off from Wuhan to land in Meknes, via Novosibirsk and Moscow.
In total, 100 Moroccans, stranded in China since the appearance of the coronavirus, will return to Morocco. On arrival, they will all be transferred to the military hospital in Meknes. Then they will be placed in medical quarantine for a few days.
Faced with the distress cry of Moroccan nationals, particularly students stranded in China due to the coronavirus epidemic, King Mohammed VI had ordered, on Monday, January 27, their repatriation during a working session.
For its part, RAM has temporarily suspended its flights between Casablanca and Beijing, since yesterday, Friday, January 31 until February 29 next.
