Morocco Postpones Higher Education Entrance Exams Due to Pandemic Disruptions

The information came on Monday, May 18, during the oral questions in the House of Representatives. The Minister of National Education announced the postponement of all entrance exams to higher education, until the announcement of the final results of the baccalaureate exam.
In announcing the postponement of the entrance exams to higher education, Saïd Amzazi indicated that "the end-of-year exams for the vocational training sector will take place in September 2020, for the specialized technician and technician streams".
As for the professional and qualification streams of the vocational training sector, "their final exam will be organized in November 2020, after conducting field training". As for the National Competitive Examination for Access to Management Schools (CNAEM), the Minister of Education said that "this competition will be organized on July 11, 13 and 14, 2020", while "the Common National Competition (CNC) for admission to engineering schools will be organized from July 16 to 18, 2020, with only a written exam," the same source said.
As for the end-of-year exams of the Center for the Training of Education Inspectors, the Center for Guidance and Education Planning (mentors and planning cadres) and the regional centers (teachers, academic and pedagogical management cadres and teachers), they will be organized from July 20, 2020, with appointments beginning in August 2020.
Saïd Amzazi recalled that the current school year is still in effect. "Distance learning is still available to allow students, students and trainees to acquire the knowledge and skills that will allow them to continue their studies next year."
