Morocco to Play Two Friendlies Ahead of Africa Cup of Nations

As part of its preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), the Moroccan national football team plans to play two friendly matches before entering the competition in Ivory Coast.
The Atlas Lions will face the Gambia team in a friendly match scheduled for January 7. This confrontation serves as a prelude to their participation in the continental tournament to be held in mid-January.
The Moroccan players could also play a second friendly match in Ivory Coast. This match would be organized against a local team in the city of San Pedro.
As for the tournament itself, Morocco is in Group F, alongside the teams of the DR Congo, Zambia and Tanzania, in accordance with the draw for the group stage. The Group F matches will take place in San-Pedro, with Morocco starting its campaign against Tanzania.
