Morocco Drawn in Favorable Group for 2023 Africa Cup of Nations

The Moroccan national football team got off rather well with a fairly favorable draw for the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled from January 11 to February 13 in Côte d’Ivoire.
The Atlas Lions are in Group F and will have to face the DR Congo, Zambia and Tanzania.
These last two teams were actually in the same group as Morocco during the World Cup qualifiers in Qatar. The Moroccan players will play their matches at the San Pedro stadium, which has a capacity of 20,000 spectators.
Here are the details of the groups:
• Group A: Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
• Group B: Egypt, Ghana, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
• Group C: Senegal, Cameroon, Guinea and Gambia.
• Group D: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mauritania and Angola.
• Group E: Tunisia, Mali, South Africa and Namibia.
• Group F: Morocco, DR Congo, Zambia and Tanzania.
