Morocco’s Passport Ranks 79th Globally, Remains 2nd Strongest in Maghreb

The Moroccan passport ranks 79th in the annual ranking of the most powerful passports in the world, thus maintaining its position as the second most powerful passport in the Maghreb.
According to this ranking by the British firm Henley & Partners, the Moroccan passport occupies the 79th place out of 110 in the world, thus offering Moroccans the possibility to travel to 64 destinations without a visa.
In the Maghreb, the kingdom’s passport ranks second behind the Tunisian passport (74th place in the world with 71 destinations) and ahead of the Mauritanian passport (84th place in the world with 59 countries) and the Algerian passport (92nd place in the world with 51 destinations).
The Japanese passport remains the most powerful in the world and offers the possibility to travel to 191 countries without a visa. It is followed by that of Singapore (2nd place in the world with 190 destinations) and Germany (3rd place in the world with 189 destinations).
