Morocco Partners with Brazil to Boost Electric Vehicle Technology and Infrastructure

Morocco has just signed a technology transfer agreement with Brazil in the field of electric mobility. The Green Energy Park (GEP), a solar energy research and training center based in Benguerir and INESC P&D Brasil, a scientific and technological network, have sealed this new partnership.
This collaboration is the result of a partnership between the OCP Group and the Institute of Solar Energy and New Energies Research (Iresen), reports the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
For the president of Inesc P&D Brazil, Vladimiro Miranda, quoted by ANBA, the press agency of the Chamber of Commerce, this is not the first partnership between the Brazilian institution and Morocco.
"The challenge now is to support Morocco in the manufacture of fast chargers for electric vehicles on an industrial scale," he said, adding that the protocol of agreement is scheduled to last nine months during which Moroccan and Brazilian researchers will share their experiences in the field.
