Morocco Opens New Police Training Academy in Laâyoune

There is now a police school in Laâyoune. This is the result of a policy led by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
In Laâyoune, the policy of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) is taking shape. A police school is now opening its doors to aspiring police officers and all police officers.
Its purpose is to train police officers capable of successfully carrying out their mission of maintaining order and preserving the security of persons and property, through a curriculum based on theoretical and practical training.
It is equipped with all the modern equipment to ensure better training in police professions. It also has a teaching unit that provides theoretical and practical training in public security, general intelligence and criminal investigation.
According to Commissioner Aoudal Boughaba, its Director, the school was created to promote and improve the human resources of the DGSN, in order to enable them to fulfill their duty under the best conditions.
The police school will provide training for 400 trainee police officers, of both sexes and from different regions of the Kingdom, starting September 17.
