Moroccan Police Uncover Fake Diploma Scheme in Recruitment Exam

Forgers were unmasked during the entrance exam to the Moroccan police. The verification of the authenticity of the documents presented allowed the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) to detect fake university degrees.
During an operation to control and inspect the university diplomas of candidates for the police recruitment exams, two cases of fraud were detected by Abellatif Hammouchi’s services.
Two candidates presented non-existent diplomas in the database of the issuing institutions. The Judicial Police of Rabat took over the case and an investigation was opened, under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to prosecute the perpetrators.
The prior control of the documents is a main step in the employment procedure within the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). It advocates equal opportunities between the different candidates.
In its fight against the various forms of fraud and document forgery, the DGSN intends to prosecute the two forger candidates.
